Bangkok: “Jirayu” asks the people, “Where did you say that Section 112 should not be used as a political tool?” Mr. Jirayu Huangsap, spokesman for the Prime Minister’s Office, questioned the People’s Party’s position on Section 112 after the party appeared to permit the Bhumjaithai Party to utilize it in a political manner.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Jirayu highlighted that the People’s Party has consistently advocated against the use of Section 112 as a political weapon. However, he expressed concern over their apparent approval of the Bhumjaithai Party’s decision to file a complaint in this context.

Mr. Jirayu further emphasized that the People’s Party should bear responsibility for this decision, just as they should for a previous incident involving the Bhumjaithai Party’s refusal to support “Leader Pita.” In contrast, the Pheu Thai Party had shown full support for Mr. Pita, a move that Mr. Jirayu noted was unforgettable.
