Luxury Watch Under Scrutiny Amid Asset Return Promises

Bangkok: A lawyer representing “May Wasana” is set to send a luxury watch to an expert to determine its authenticity, while the lawyer for “Due Arisara” has pledged to return all assets within the upcoming week. Mr. Kriangkrai Intachan, the legal representative of May Wasana, disclosed these developments amid ongoing legal proceedings.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Intachan stated that the individual who pawned the watch had expressed a desire to return it even before May Wasana regained possession of an emerald necklace. To prevent compromising the case, this information had been withheld. Upon receiving the watch, a memorandum of understanding was established for its return, after which it will be subjected to expert examination to verify its authenticity.

Meanwhile, Due Arisara’s lawyer has assured that efforts are underway to return all remaining assets within the next week. May Wasana remains uncertain about pursuing legal action after the assets are returned, as she awaits the Crime Suppression Division’s potential further investigation or expansion of the case. If all matters conclude satisfactorily, legal action may not be necessary.

On a related note, the company that held the Bvlgari necklace as collateral plans to file a fraud complaint against Due Arisara at Pathumwan Police Station for allegedly selling another person’s necklace under false pretenses. While May Wasana is unaware of this situation, she remains confident that the case will not impede the return of the necklace unless police intervention is required for evidence purposes. She believes such measures are unlikely to be necessary.
