According to Thai News Agency, Army spokesman Major General Winthai Suvari addressed the decision by Malaysia to send observers to Cambodia ahead of others, attributing it to Malaysia’s internal procedures. He emphasized that Malaysia is considered an official observer and has engaged in discussions with the government regarding the matter.
In response to public sentiment about Malaysia’s visit to Cambodia preceding others, Major General Winthai clarified that the sequence of visits held no substantial importance. He downplayed concerns about the timing of Malaysia’s visit, suggesting that the order of visits was not a critical issue.
