HANOI: The ultimate goal of mass mobilisation in today’s context is to serve the people, bring practical benefits to the people, and address their legitimate needs and aspirations, said Party General Secretary To Lam at a working session with the Party Central Committee’s Mass Mobilisation Commission in Hanoi on November 18.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the Party General Secretary emphasised the importance of aligning mass mobilisation efforts with the interests of the citizens. He underscored that the focus should be on understanding and meeting the genuine needs and desires of the populace, ensuring that the strategies implemented truly reflect the aspirations of the community.
During the session, To Lam highlighted the necessity for the Party to continually adapt its approach to mass mobilisation, considering the dynamic socio-economic landscape and the evolving expectations of the people. By prioritising citizen engagement and participation, the Party aims to foster trust and collaboration between
the government and the public.
The Party General Secretary also called for enhanced communication and interaction with citizens to facilitate a more inclusive and responsive system of governance. This, he asserted, would be instrumental in achieving sustainable development and social harmony, aligning with the Party’s broader objectives of national growth and stability.
