Bangkok: ‘Minister Narumon’ points out that teachers and students must be developed together for Thai education to change. Reveals that promoting learning outside the classroom is more important than memorization because children can actually do it.
According to Thai News Agency, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Narumon Pinyosinwat, the Minister of Education, shared her policy guidelines, emphasizing the need for simultaneous development of teachers and students to bring about change in Thai education. Having been a teacher herself, she expressed understanding of the educational challenges faced in Thailand. She highlighted that the readiness of educational personnel is crucial. The Ministry of Education aims to support teachers by offering training to enhance their potential, while also addressing their workload, living conditions, and welfare, recognizing the critical role teachers play in shaping the youth.
