Bangkok: The Minister of Commerce plans to speak with the Lao ambassador to request a transit route for goods from Ubon Ratchathani to Cambodia. The Minister of Commerce indicated that border trade revival will focus on preserving existing markets and accelerating the search for new ones. He anticipates that businesses will adapt to cross-border shipping between Thailand and Cambodia, and is considering talking to the Lao ambassador to request a transit route from Ubon Ratchathani to Cambodia.

According to Thai News Agency, Chatuporn Buruspat, Minister of Commerce, addressed the revitalization of trade along the Thai-Cambodian border, stating that he is awaiting information regarding the potential reopening of the border crossing.
