Bangkok: Pipat Ratchakitprakarn, Minister of Labor, has expressed his condolences over the deaths of four Thai workers in Israel and has ordered an urgent evacuation of workers from the North to the South of the country. The tragic incident also left one worker seriously injured amidst ongoing unrest.
According to Thai News Agency, Minister Pipat conveyed his sympathy to the bereaved families and emphasized the commitment of the Ministry of Labor to support them. He has instructed Mr. Boonsong Thapchaiyudh, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, to closely coordinate with the Minister Counselor (Labor) in Tel Aviv to facilitate the evacuation process. Furthermore, Mr. Pipat has tasked the Permanent Secretary and the 5 Labor Tigers with visiting the families to offer moral support and assess further assistance needs. The Minister reaffirmed the shared sense of loss felt by the Ministry of Labor officials and the affected families.
