Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives Unites with Multiple Ministries to Enhance Quality of Life Across Thailand

Nonthaburi: The Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives has partnered with four other ministries and three local associations to enhance the quality of life for citizens of all ages throughout Thailand. This initiative aims to foster a happy and equitable society.

According to Thai News Agency, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives, Colonel Thammanat Prompow, outlined this collaborative effort during a policy statement and a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony. The event, held at the Royal Jubilee Ballroom, Impact Muang Thong Thani, was also attended by key figures including Mr. Akara Prompow, Minister of Social Development and Human Security; Prof. Dr. Narumon Pinyosinwat, Minister of Education; and Mr. Atthakorn Sirilathayakorn, Minister of Tourism and Sports. Mr. Winaroj Traiphongsuk, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, signed the MOU on behalf of the ministry.

Colonel Thammanat emphasized the importance of integrated cooperation in improving the quality of life for all age groups across the country. The initiative’s primary objective is to ensure equitable access to government services and welfare, covering careers, education, health, economic security, housing, and food safety. The effort promotes collaboration among citizens, government entities, local organizations, and the private sector, prioritizing the welfare of the populace.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for every age group, from birth to senior years. With a focus on grassroots development, the ministry aims to address the needs of low-income earners, vulnerable groups, and farmers.
