Mo Chit 2 Taxi Service Point Relocation Announced for Early Morning Hours

Bangkok: The Transport Company has announced the relocation of the taxi service point at Mo Chit 2 during early morning hours, specifically from 3:00 AM to 5:30 AM, to Platform 2 starting August 10, 2025.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Atthavit Rakjamroon, President of the Transport Company Limited (BKS), stated that the relocation will involve moving the taxi service point to parking spaces 96-98 on Platform 2. This change allows passengers to transfer directly to a taxi upon disembarking from buses. During hours outside this specified timeframe, the taxi service point will continue to operate on the first floor in front of the Bangkok Bus Terminal (Chatuchak) (Mo Chit 2).

The decision to relocate the taxi service point was made to address the issue of passengers being approached by individuals promoting illegal vehicles while they wait for taxis at the Mo Chit 2 bus terminal. The new location on Platform 2 will provide a more secure environment, as it is a closed area accessible only to passengers and staff.

Passengers wishing to use the Bangkok Mass Transit Authority (BMTA) buses can continue to do so at the existing pick-up and drop-off point next to the flagpole in front of the Mo Chit 2 bus terminal building.

Mr. Atthavit further mentioned that if any unauthorized entry is detected in the new taxi parking area, the Transport Company will pursue legal action. Passengers experiencing travel issues can report them to officials or file complaints with the Transport Company's Passenger Protection Division at 02-936-2834 or the Department of Land Transport at 1584.
