Bangkok: Muang Thai Life Assurance PCL has announced its support for the renovation project of the Pediatric Cardiology Center at Chulalongkorn Hospital, part of the Thai Red Cross Society. This initiative aims to enhance the quality of healthcare for Thai children, aligning with technological advancements and international standards.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Sara Lamsam, CEO of Muang Thai Life Assurance PCL, stated that the company has allocated funds to upgrade the Pediatric Cardiac Center. This investment underscores the company’s dedication to societal welfare and improving the quality of life for Thai youth, the future of the nation. The renovation is expected to improve medical care quality, modernize hospital equipment and facilities, increase patient capacity, and enhance service efficiency, thus reducing waiting times and expanding access to quality healthcare for children with complex medical conditions. Additionally, the project aims to create a supportive environment for recovery by designing child-friendly spaces, such as examination rooms and activity areas, which can alleviate stress and fear for children and parents, fostering a positive atmosphere that aids in mental and physical recovery.

Furthermore, the CEO emphasized the project’s role in supporting medical education and research, which will enhance learning opportunities and the development of medical personnel in pediatrics. This will contribute to long-term advancements in medical knowledge and innovation. The project, which has been active since 2021, received financial backing from Muang Thai Life Assurance of 19.2 million baht and was delivered at the Department of Pediatrics, SK Building, 6th floor, at Chulalongkorn Hospital.
