Mrs. Narumon Pinyosinwat, Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives, said before the cabinet meeting about the urgent survey of damaged farmland areas to the cabinet meeting to consider compensation that from the survey, it was found that approximately 1 million rai of farmland was damaged in the flooded provinces. In the agricultural areas, the original criteria for compensation will be used. However, in today’s meeting, it is expected that this matter will not be brought to the meeting in time because the Budget Bureau must consider it in order to use the budget in 2025, which we must urgently collect information to help.
As for the rehabilitation and compensation, the Budget Bureau will present it to the Cabinet meeting for
consideration.
