Bangkok: Neta Auto (Thailand) Co., Ltd. has announced via its official Facebook page that it will not be offering any significant price discounts on its vehicles, and emphasized that purchases made through unauthorized dealers will not be covered by a warranty.
According to Thai News Agency, the announcement came after reports surfaced about the financial status of NETA’s parent company in China and instances of dealers slashing prices to attract customers. These developments have coincided with consumer dissatisfaction regarding slow repair services and other issues, leading to complaints being lodged with the Consumer Council. NETA’s Facebook post has attracted numerous consumer comments, primarily inquiring about improvements to after-sales services and the lengthy wait times for spare parts. However, the company has not responded to these queries.
NETA’s message explicitly states that no discounts are currently available on their vehicles. It warns that cars purchased at prices lower than the official company rate from unauthorized dealers will not be eligible for warranty or after-sales services from NETA Auto (Thailand) Co., Ltd. The company cautions that purchasing parts or services from unauthorized dealers may lead to receiving substandard products, improper assembly, and potential mechanical damage to the car, increasing the risk of accidents and damage to life and property. NETA Auto (Thailand) Co., Ltd. will not be liable for any damages resulting from such transactions.
To ensure vehicle safety and quality, NETA advises customers to purchase cars and services exclusively from authorized service centers.
Previously, NETA’s page mentioned that June 1, 2025, marks the 7th anniversary of the brand, with eight car models launched to date. Globally, there are over 460,000 NETA car owners, with the Thailand market having commenced operations in 2022. NETA remains committed to continuing its operations in Thailand.
The NETA Thailand spare parts distribution center has been actively importing spare parts from both local and Chinese sources and has started distributing them to service centers. The warehouse organizes spare parts systematically by type, with a designated zone for preparing orders ready for immediate dispatch to service centers, a process that began at the end of May 2025. Several branches nationwide have started to receive the ordered spare parts.
