Hanoi – A significant book authored by Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, focusing on promoting the great national solidarity tradition, was launched at a ceremony in Hanoi on November 18. The book’s debut coincides with the 93rd founding anniversary of the Vietnam National United Front and the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF).
According to Vietnam News Agency, the launch event, organized by the VFF Central Committee, the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Information and Education, and the Su that (Truth) National Political Publishing House, celebrates the longstanding tradition of national unity in Vietnam. The 748-page book includes 75 speeches, articles, interviews, letters, and appeals by the General Secretary, supplemented by 142 photos documenting his visits across all 63 provinces and cities nationwide.
The book is divided into three sections. The first section delves into the great national solidarity as the key internal strength and decisive factor in national construction and defense success. The second part highlights the VFF and socio-political organizations’ role in achieving socio-economic development targets. The third section focuses on enhancing the participation of people and localities in national reform.
Regarded as a valuable resource on building and promoting the great national solidarity bloc, the book aims to enhance awareness, consensus, patriotism, and dedication among cadres, Party members, people, and the entire political system.
President of the VFF Central Committee, Do Van Chien, underscored the significance of the book’s release during the Vietnam National United Front’s 93rd founding anniversary. He described it as a theoretical and practical handbook for reinforcing the great national solidarity’s strength in the current context. The book is expected to guide Party committees, VFF committees, cadres, and Party members in applying its insights practically.
Additionally, the book serves as a political foundation for crafting an action plan to implement the resolution of the 13th Party Central Committee’s eighth session. This resolution emphasizes continuing the great national solidarity tradition to steer Vietnam towards becoming an increasingly strong, prosperous, civilized, and happy nation.
