OHEC and Rangsit University Collaborate to Develop Digital and Innovation Personnel

Pathum thani: The Office of the Higher Education Commission (OHEC) and Rangsit University have formalized their collaboration with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) aimed at advancing the capabilities of personnel in the digital and innovation sectors. This partnership is set to bolster the effectiveness of the new government sector.

According to Thai News Agency, the MOU was signed by Ms. Yupha Thaweewattanakitborworn, Permanent Secretary to the Prime Minister’s Office, and Dr. Arthit Ourairat, President of Rangsit University. The signing took place at the Arthit Ourairat Building, Rangsit University, Pathum Thani Province. The agreement focuses on enhancing digital and innovation personnel to support modern government operations.

The Permanent Secretary to the Prime Minister’s Office highlighted that the MOU aims to establish a collaborative network for developing digital and innovation potential. This initiative encompasses curriculum development, workshops, research studies, and innovation creation. It also emphasizes improving the skills and knowledge of NBTC personnel to adapt to the digital era, setting a precedent for cooperation between government bodies and educational institutions.

The partnership includes knowledge exchange, joint development of projects or activities, research support, and opportunities for Rangsit University students to engage in internships or study tours. Personnel from both entities will participate in providing necessary resources, with discussions outlining roles, responsibilities, and operational guidelines to achieve concrete outcomes.

The collaboration also prioritizes the instillation of morality and ethics alongside digital skills development. Utilizing creative processes and AI technology, the initiative aims to produce innovative content and disseminate knowledge on anti-corruption, fostering a transparent and publicly beneficial organizational culture.

The Permanent Secretary to the Prime Minister’s Office further stated that the Office of the Permanent Secretary is crucial in driving government policies and developing an efficient public administration system. Rangsit University, known for its academic and research expertise, will develop curricula, transfer knowledge, and enhance essential skills to sustainably boost the potential of public sector personnel for modern governance.
