Opening the Stage of ‘CFO Annual Conference on Capital Markets’ in Thailand

Bangkok: The Stock Exchange of Thailand and the Federation of Accountants of Thailand under Royal Patronage have jointly inaugurated a forum to facilitate the exchange of views and business ideas at the 'CFO Annual Conference on Capital Markets'. They also launched the first 'CFO Club' in the Thai capital market.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Asadej Kongsiri, Director and Managing Director of the Stock Exchange of Thailand, Mr. Winij Silamongkol, Chairman of the Federation of Accounting Professions under Royal Patronage, Prof. Dr. Pornanong Busaratrakul, Secretary-General of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and Mr. Wirat Sukchai, Chairman of the Association of Listed Companies in the Market for Alternative Investment (maiA), were present at the opening of the 'CFO Annual Conference on Capital Markets'. The conference aimed to facilitate the exchange of business perspectives and ideas between CFOs and advisors in the capital market, attended by over 450 CFOs of listed companies. The event marked the launch of the 'CFO Club', a pioneering network in the Thai capital market designed for CFOs of listed companies to exchange knowledge and experiences, driving organizations and the Thai capital market towards sustainable growth.

Mr. Asadej emphasized the pivotal role of CFOs in driving organizations and businesses. He highlighted the need for continuous development of the expertise, knowledge, and experience of CFOs to enhance their potential in supporting the growth of companies and organizations. The formation of the first CFO group, 'CFO Club', represents a significant step towards developing a cooperative network among CFOs of listed companies and those preparing to list on the stock exchange. This initiative aims to facilitate knowledge enhancement through training seminars, learning from experts, and exchanging perspectives on various aspects of economics, finance, and investment. Additionally, it focuses on applying strategies for company growth, good governance, and organizational supervision, ultimately benefiting all stakeholders sustainably.
