Bangkok: OR has been honored with the Outstanding “Human Rights Model Organization” award for the second consecutive year. Mr. Suchart Ramas, President and CEO of PTT Oil and Retail Business Public Company Limited (OR), accepted the award in the Human Rights Awards 2025 in the state enterprise category from the Department of Rights and Liberties Protection, Ministry of Justice.
According to Thai News Agency, OR was one of 13 state enterprises selected to receive this prestigious accolade, highlighting its steadfast commitment to integrating human rights principles into its business operations. This commitment aims to foster equality and equity for all stakeholders involved.
Mr. Suchart emphasized that this recognition underscores OR’s dedication to respecting human rights at both national and international levels. This is demonstrated through exceptional social initiatives like the Thai Det project, which enhances distribution channels for community enterprises; the Sharing Happiness Project, which aids farmers during periods of surplus; and the Caf© Amazon for Chance project, which offers employment opportunities and income generation for vulnerable groups through the extensive PTT Station network and Caf© Amazon stores. These projects collectively contribute to sustainable societal improvements and enhanced quality of life.
