Bangkok: Paethongtarn Shinawatra has officially joined the Pheu Thai Party following a visit to Klong Prem Central Prison, where she met with former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra.

According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Paethongtarn, a former Prime Minister and leader of the Pheu Thai Party, along with her family, visited Mr. Thaksin at the prison at 11:25 a.m. Following the visit, they proceeded to the Pheu Thai Party headquarters.

Upon arrival at the party office, Ms. Paethongtarn opted to enter through a side entrance instead of the main entrance.
