When asked about the possibility of a change in the prime minister, she advised the media not to jump to conclusions prematurely.

According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, the Prime Minister, commented on the government’s ongoing efforts to address various challenges. Despite these efforts, she noted that there are still conflicts within the coalition, particularly between the Pheu Thai and Bhumjaithai parties. Paethongtarn stressed that differing opinions among political parties are normal and do not signify division or conflict. Instead, she views these disagreements as opportunities for growth and understanding within the coalition, asserting that she is not overly concerned about these issues.

Regarding former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra’s statement that there would be no change in the prime minister during the government’s current term, Paethongtarn responded with humor. She questioned if the media was suggesting a signal of a change and reassured them not to get tired of the speculation. Paethongtarn concluded with a smile, indicating that if any changes were forthcoming, she would communicate them accordingly.
