Phitsanulok: Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, Prime Minister and Minister of Culture, visited Phitsanulok House to engage with the Board of Investment (BOI) and the Thai Soft Power Team, aiming to bolster investment and promote five strategic areas of development.

According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Paethongtarn’s visit included discussions with the National Soft Power Strategy Committee and various economic agencies. The goal is to enhance the Thai soft power policy, which focuses on strengthening Thailand’s global cultural and economic influence.

The discussions are intended to build upon Ms. Paethongtarn’s previous announcement of a five-area Thai soft power strategy. This strategy encompasses the promotion of Thai food, Thai boxing, Thai well-net, Thai movies, and gemstones. These initiatives were originally outlined during the Splash Softpower Forum 2025, held at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center from July 8-11.
