Surin: The People’s Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC), together with the Surin Patriots group, led a demonstration to reclaim Prasat Ta Kwai. The event, characterized by a symbolic march, was aimed at advocating for the return of the historical site to Thailand.
According to Thai News Agency, the Student and People’s Network for Reform of Thailand (SNNRT), led by Mr. Phichit Chaiyamongkol, joined forces with the Surin Patriots to organize the demonstration. Participants wore sneakers and marched to Prasat Ta Kwai, located near the monument of Phraya Surin Phakdi Si Narong Changwang, to make a statement. The demonstration was a symbolic demand for the return of Prasat Ta Kwai to Thailand, with participants declaring their resolve not to cede any land to Cambodia.
The demonstrators also called for the return of Prasat Khana in Kap Choeng District, Surin Province. Following the demonstration, the group delivered supplies to soldiers stationed at the Ban Phluang military camp, further underlining their commitment to the cause.
