Sa kaeo: The Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) has confirmed that it has not been providing electricity to the Nong Ya Kaeo and Nong Chan districts, located at the Thai-Cambodian border area. The PEA’s statement comes in response to circulating social media reports suggesting that Cambodians in these areas are utilizing electricity supplied by Thailand.

According to Thai News Agency, the PEA clarified that there is no electricity supply from Thailand to Cambodians residing in the areas of Ban Nong Ya Kaeo and Ban Nong Chan, Sa Kaeo Province. The reports further mentioned that the electricity used by Cambodians in these areas is sourced through an extension cord connected from the Kingdom of Cambodia.
