Bangkok: The Pheu Thai Party has officially approved the formation of a 20-member committee responsible for selecting candidates for the House of Representatives. This decision was made during the party’s 1/2567 extraordinary general meeting, with the party leader, Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, taking charge of the committee.
According to Thai News Agency, the newly established committee consists of nine executive members from the party. These include Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, Mr. Chusak Sirinil, Mr. Chulaphan Amornvivat, Mr. Ochit Kiattikongchuchai, Ms. Jiraporn Sindhuphrai, Mr. Pongkawin Juangroongruangkit, Mr. Surawong Thienthong, Mr. Danupon Punnakan, and Mr. Chanin Rungthanakiat.
The committee also comprises seven branch leaders from different regions. These leaders are Mr. Samak Boonpok from Udon Thani Province, Mr. Thanakhan Ruangsilp Suwit from Chiang Mai, Mr. Surachit Saiyahut from Kanchanaburi Province, Mr. Phuchpong Thongphanphinyo from Nakhon Ratchasima Province, Mr. Chamnan Na Chiang Mai from
Uttaradit Province, Mr. Wiraphong Petchsitthiyothin from Sa Kaeo Province, and Mr. Amporn Yotphaka from Nakhon Si Thammarat Province.
Additionally, the committee includes four provincial party representatives: Mr. Prasart Thongpaknam from Sukhothai Province, Mr. Prasert Chantatong from Nong Khai Province, Mr. Mana Kongwuttipan for Bangkok, and Mr. Thanet Kittithanesuan from Nakhon Nayok Province.
