Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn Collaborates with Ministry of Interior on Khao Kradong Case

Bangkok: “Phiphat” plans to join hands with the Ministry of Interior to solve the Khao Kradong case. Pipat is set to join hands with the Interior Ministry to resolve the Khao Kradong case after officially assuming office. He emphasized that the more doubts there are, the more clarity must be given to the Thai people. He insisted that there will be no fixed fights to defraud viewers.

According to Thai News Agency, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport, Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, stated that it is now clear whether he will assume the position of Minister of Transport, but that any policy matters to be implemented will be left to Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul to make the announcement.

Regarding the various concerns raised by both the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Interior, particularly regarding the Khao Kradong land issue, Mr. Pipat stated that this should be one of the first matters to be addressed quickly, providing clarity to the Thai people nationwide on how these two ministries will proceed. Specifically, the State Railway of Thailand and the Department of Lands must develop clear policy guidelines, which will begin with discussions to determine whether the matter will escalate to court. However, he believes the best course of action is for the SRT to proceed within the scope it believes is feasible.

As for whether a timeframe has been set for the State Railway of Thailand (SRT) to investigate the facts after assuming his post at the Ministry of Transport, Mr. Pipat stated that, of course, after receiving the royal oath of office, that is the first thing he will do. He will discuss the matter with Mr. Anutin, in his capacity as Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior. He emphasized that he must reassure the Thai people about the Khao Kradong land issue and what the final outcome will be.

Regarding the question of whether Bhumjaithai Party members are overseeing the two disputed ministries, Mr. Pipat stated that the more Bhumjaithai Party oversees these two ministries, the more we must resolve public concerns. Although the Bhumjaithai Party is responsible for both ministries, they are not related, as they are national land matters. Clarification must be made regarding the land to which over 900 individuals have received title deeds. If the State Railway of Thailand believes that individual plots can be sued, it will proceed immediately. This is the first thing it has determined to do.

As for whether the government’s four-month timeframe will be sufficient to clarify the matter, Mr. Pipat admitted that he is unsure whether the legal process will be completed within these four months. However, he will have the State Railway of Thailand begin the process immediately after officially assuming office. He concluded by emphasizing that any clarification is a matter of law that must be implemented and implemented. However, he confirmed that this is not a fixed match, and the Thai people must receive clarification.
