Bangkok: “Phumtham” confirms that there are already administrative officials working with the military in the area of Prasat Ta Muen Thom, urging them to work more carefully and intensely.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Phumtham Vejjayachai, who serves as the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, as well as the Acting Prime Minister, addressed concerns regarding the situation at Prasat Ta Muen Thom. The site frequently attracts tourists who may create disruptions. When questioned about plans to augment the presence of administrative officers to support the military, Mr. Phumtham stated that he has not yet received a request for the Ministry of Interior to intervene further.
He confirmed that administrative officers are already present and performing their duties at the site. Mr. Phumtham emphasized the need for these officers to continue their work with increased intensity and thoroughness. He also noted that should there be a requirement for the administrative sector to expand its responsibilities in specific areas, coordination efforts could be initiated to address those needs.
