Mueang nonthaburi: Nearly 30 teenagers in a pickup truck chased and shot at their rivals, resulting in one fatality and three injuries. The group also stripped the deceased before fleeing the scene.

According to Thai News Agency, police from Bang Sri Muang Police Station are investigating the violent incident that occurred in Soi Bang Sri Muang 20 and Soi Bang Sri Muang 24, Bang Sri Muang Subdistrict. The attack involved the use of knives and guns, and police were joined by doctors from the Institute of Forensic Medicine and volunteers from the Poh Teck Tung Foundation.

Mr. Surawut, also known as Tar, aged 15, was found dead after being stabbed in the chest. His body was discovered with his trousers removed, leaving his lower half exposed. Nearby, an orange motorcycle with a Bangkok license plate and a white motorcycle without a license plate were parked approximately 100 meters from the scene. A broken knife was also found in the vicinity.

Another victim, Mr. Wit, believed to be between 15 and 16 years old, suffered a knife wound to his left wrist, causing severe bleeding. Additionally, Mr. Methasit, or Q, aged 15, sustained a gunshot wound to his left leg. Rescue workers provided first aid before transporting him to the hospital.

Mr. Art, a 16-year-old friend of the deceased, recounted that a group of friends, including three women, had intended to resolve an issue involving a woman connected to the rival group. Initially, the situation appeared to be resolved, but each group eventually parted ways. Mr. Art later learned from a friend that their group had been ambushed, resulting in injuries and a fatality.

The grandmother of the deceased arrived at the scene upon hearing of her grandson’s murder. She revealed that her grandson and his friends had previous conflicts with rivals over a romantic dispute, which had been amicably resolved by elders. She expressed shock at the severity of the attack, which not only resulted in her grandson’s death but also his body being left stripped on the road.

Police are actively gathering evidence and reviewing CCTV footage from the area to uncover the motive and apprehend the individuals responsible for the attack.
