PM Holds Meeting with Malaysian Legislator in Hanoi


HANOI: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh held a meeting with the Speaker of the House of Representatives of Malaysia, Tan Sri Dato’ Johari Bin Abdul, in Hanoi. The meeting took place on October 25 and aimed to strengthen the diplomatic and economic ties between Vietnam and Malaysia.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the discussions between the two leaders focused on enhancing cooperation in various sectors, including trade, investment, and education. Both parties expressed their commitment to fostering a closer relationship and exploring new opportunities for collaboration. The meeting underscored the importance of regional partnerships in addressing common challenges and promoting mutual growth.

The engagement between Prime Minister Chinh and Speaker Abdul also highlighted the significance of parliamentary diplomacy in strengthening bilateral relations. Both countries have expressed a shared interest in working together on issues such as climate change, regional security, and sustainable development.
