She mentioned that the clip did not cause any harm to the country and highlighted that such discussions are typical among world leaders and should remain confidential.
According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, the Prime Minister, addressed the situation involving the petition submitted by senators regarding the leaked conversation with Samdech Hun Sen, President of the Cambodian Senate, that took place on July 1st. She stated that she has thoroughly assessed the situation and is prepared to support the information and offer explanations. The leaked audio confirms that such exchanges are common in diplomatic negotiations. She emphasized that the conversation did not result in any personal gain nor did it cause any detriment to Thailand. It was a diplomatic discussion, and the confidentiality of such conversations should be maintained. The Prime Minister reiterated her readiness to explain every detail of the incident.
