Bangkok: Police Colonel Thawee Sodsong, the Minister of Justice and leader of the Prachachat Party, visited Mr. Chaikasem Nitisiri, a Prime Ministerial candidate of the Pheu Thai Party, at his private residence. The visit was made in his capacity as a former Minister of Justice and was marked by the presentation of a gift basket to Mr. Chaikasem.

According to Thai News Agency, the visit by Police Colonel Thawee follows a separate meeting where Mr. Jakrapob Penkhae also visited Mr. Chaikasem at his home. The meetings come ahead of a planned trip by Mr. Chaikasem to the Pheu Thai Party headquarters, where he is set to attend a meeting with party MPs later this afternoon.
