According to Thai News Agency, Pol. Gen. Thatchai Pitaneelabut, Inspector-General of the Royal Thai Police, stated that the initial physical examination by the Police Aviation Division found that bolts attached to the helicopter’s large rotor assembly had come loose. However, this finding alone is insufficient to conclude the cause of the crash. The final determination awaits expert analysis and additional evidence, after which the results will be made public.
Furthermore, Pol. Gen. Kittirat Panphet, the national police chief, has mandated an investigation into the aircraft maintenance processes of the police aviation division.
