Bangkok: Police have invited Ms. Chatuphon Ubonlerd, known as ‘Ms. Oi’, to provide additional testimony at the Crime Suppression Division, with new inquiries focusing on the details surrounding a will.
According to Thai News Agency, Pol. Lt. Col. Suwat Saengnum, deputy commander of the Central Investigation Bureau, disclosed that Ms. Oi was summoned to review her previous testimony as part of efforts to ensure the thoroughness of the investigation report. This step is considered crucial in determining whether there were any omissions in her earlier statements.
The investigation is now set to explore potential connections between the will and the ongoing case, despite the absence of such information in previous inquiries. Today marks a significant progression in the case, as Ms. Oi is the sole individual invited to provide a statement to the police, highlighting the importance of her testimony in clarifying the issues at hand.
Ms. Oi arrived at the Crime Suppression Division at approximately 10:15 a.m., ent
ering discreetly through the back entrance and proceeding to the investigation room. She was dressed in a white jacket and a pink hat, accompanied by three individuals carrying numerous bags of food, indicating preparations for a lengthy interrogation session.
Upon her arrival, Ms. Oi was greeted by law enforcement officers and acknowledged the presence of media personnel with a wave but refrained from making any public statements before entering the interrogation room.
