PPNI to increase collaboration in Jakarta’s COVID-19 handling: Patria

Jakarta Deputy Governor Ahmad Riza Patria has expressed the hope that health workers associated with the Indonesian National Nurses Association (PPNI) will increase collaboration and solidarity to handle the COVID-19 situation in Jakarta.

“PPNI, as a professional nurse organization, has cooperated well in realizing a healthy and advanced Jakarta through various programs synergized by the Health Service,” Patria remarked at the inauguration of the North Jakarta PPNI Board on Saturday.

He said he will support and encourage PPNI to continue improving collaboration in handling the COVID-19 pandemic and educating the public about the importance of health protocol implementation.

“I fully support the PPNI program, which is in line with the Jakarta provincial government in an effort to advance and escalate the city in clean and healthy living behaviors,” Patria said.

He also expressed his appreciation for the active role and collaboration of health workers at the forefront of fighting the COVID-19 pandemic in the capital city.

Health workers have worked hard in all service areas, including hospitals, clinics, higher nursing education, including during the COVID-19 pandemic, he noted.
