Bangkok: The Prime Minister visited the “Thai Fabric, Wear It for Fun” exhibition, expressing support for the initiative by purchasing two jackets designed by Circula. The Prime Minister invited the public to attend the Silk Festival 2024, emphasizing that Thai fabrics are suitable for workwear, especially for teenagers, and encouraged organizations to showcase the beauty of Thai fabrics to international audiences.
According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, the Prime Minister, chaired a Cabinet meeting where four members were excused: Mr. Prasert Chantarawongthong, Mr. Pichai Naripthaphan, Mr. Chalermchai Sri-on, and Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn. Prior to the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, alongside other officials, organized the exhibition which highlighted the ‘Thai Fabric, Fun to Wear’ initiative, featuring OTOP Premium products and award-winning handicrafts.

usband, and received a dog mascot doll representing Udon Thani Province, the host of the 2026 Royal Flora Expo. Additionally, she tried on a batik suit and acquired hand-woven silk pieces for future outfits.

She called on organizations to promote Thai fabrics internationally, suggesting that their beauty and fashion potential could ensure their lasting popularity.
