Privy Councilor Delivers Royal Gifts to Soldiers at Thai-Cambodian Border

Bangkok: His Majesty the King has extended his support to soldiers stationed at the Thai-Cambodian border by sending gifts to the Suranaree Task Force, Army Region 2.

According to Thai News Agency, Gen. Paiboon Khumchaya, a Privy Councilor, made a visit to Prasat Ta Muen Thom and the operational base of the Suranaree Force at the Chong Bok border in Tambon Dom Pradit, Amphoe Nam Yuen, Ubon Ratchathani Province. The visit was marked by the delivery of gifts from His Majesty the King aimed at boosting the morale of military personnel on duty. Gen. Paiboon also conveyed the King’s message of encouragement to border village residents, administrative officers, and military officers serving along the border.

The visit saw the participation of Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, alongside Lt. Gen. Boonsin Phadklang, Commander of the 2nd Army, and Maj. Gen. Sompop Pharawet, Commander of the Suranaree Force. Civil servants, police, and members of the public were also present to welcome the delegation.
