Thai JBC President to Hold Press Conference on Border Issues

Bangkok: “Prasart,” the Thai chairman of the Joint Boundary Commission (JBC), is set to hold a press conference this afternoon concerning the Thai-Cambodian border situation. This event will also include a briefing for the diplomatic delegation.

According to Thai News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced through its press office an invitation for the media to cover the discussion on the Thai-Cambodian border situation. Key figures such as Mr. Nikorndej Plangoon, Director-General of the Department of Information and Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Prasarn Prasarnvinitchai, former Ambassador to Phnom Penh and Chairman of the Thai JBC Committee, and Mr. Bejamin Sukanjanatchatee, Director-General of the Department of Treaties and Legal Affairs, will participate in this event. The press conference is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ press conference room.

Furthermore, a briefing on the situation will be conducted for the diplomatic corps at 3:30 p.m.
