PTT Collaborates with National Energy Policy Council to Advance Energy Research for Net Zero

Bangkok: PTT Public Company Limited and the Department of Climate Change and Environment (DCE) have signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate on research, innovation, and the development of mechanisms to support climate change technologies in pursuit of Thailand's Net Zero target.

According to Thai News Agency, PTT announced that this collaboration will concentrate on exchanging and enhancing cooperation in information, knowledge, research, and innovation. A significant focus will be on developing mechanisms to support climate change technologies, including carbon dioxide capture and storage projects, hydrogen and hydrogen derivatives technology projects, and other related technologies. This initiative aims to jointly drive the reduction of Thailand's greenhouse gas emissions, achieve the goal of net-zero emissions, and propel the country toward international sustainability.
