PTT Maintains Top Ranking in Thailand and Southeast Asia for Second Year

Bangkok: PTT Public Company Limited has once again been recognized as the leading company in Thailand and the second in Southeast Asia according to the Fortune Southeast Asia 500 rankings. This marks the second consecutive year PTT has achieved these positions, demonstrating the company's commitment to 'Balanced Sustainability' and its vision of 'PTT, Strong Together with Thai Society and Growing Sustainably on a Global Level.'

According to Thai News Agency, Dr. Kongkrapan Intarajang, Chief Executive Officer and President of PTT, expressed confidence in the company's strategic direction despite recent fluctuations in the energy sector and global economic challenges. He cited the company's robust performance last year as evidence that PTT is well-equipped to navigate external factors and maintain its leading status both nationally and regionally.

PTT's strategy focuses on its core Hydrocarbon business, emphasizing energy security for Thailand while simultaneously growing and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. This involves domestic energy exploration, expanding the LNG business, and enhancing competitiveness in the petrochemical and refining sectors. PTT is also adapting its Non-Hydrocarbon business portfolio to leverage its strengths and partnerships, avoiding risky competitive markets. The company aims to achieve Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, exploring technologies like Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) and developing a CCS Hub Model to support emission reduction efforts.

In addition, PTT is focused on enhancing internal capabilities and creating value through collaboration within the PTT Group. This includes efficient cash flow management and adhering to principles of transparency and good governance. The company is committed to balancing stakeholder interests, providing appropriate returns, and improving the quality of life in Thai society, ultimately creating sustainable value for both society and shareholders.
