Public Sector Anti-Corruption Commission and Anti-Corruption Division Conduct Raid at Bang Khlan Temple in Phichit Province

Phichit: The Public Sector Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC) and the Anti-Corruption Division (ACC) have conducted a raid at Bang Khlan Temple in Phichit Province, engaging with the local Sangha and community leaders to restore public confidence.

According to Thai News Agency, the operation was directed by the Office of the Public Sector Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC) under the leadership of Secretary-General Mr. Phumwisan Kasemsuk. Pol. Lt. Col. Siriphong Sritula, acting as Deputy Secretary-General of the PACC, along with Ms. Ornich Sukban, Director of the Public Sector Anti-Corruption Division 2, and other officials, coordinated with Pol. Maj. Gen. Charoonkiat Pankaew, Deputy Commissioner-General of the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB), and Pol. Maj. Gen. Prasong Chalermphan, Commander of the Anti-Corruption Division, to conduct the raid at Wat Hiranyaram (Wat Bang Khlan) in Bang Khlan Subdistrict, Pho Thale District.

The team focused on collecting relevant evidence for examination. They also organized meetings with clergy, community leaders, and relevant government agencies. These efforts aim to address public concerns, maintain peace and order, and foster trust in the PACC’s operations.
