Rangsiman Dismisses Claims of 70 Orange MPs Leaving People’s Party as Fake News

Bangkok: Rangsiman Rome, a party-list MP and deputy leader of the Prachachon Party, has strongly refuted reports suggesting that 70 MPs from the People’s Party (PPPO) intend to depart before the next election. He labeled these claims as baseless and designed to sow distrust within the party.

According to Thai News Agency, Rangsiman stated that the reports were entirely fictional and possibly aimed at causing unrest. He emphasized that the party had not discussed any plans similar to those mentioned in the reports and considered the claims as politically motivated rather than factual. Rangsiman stressed that it was crucial for all MPs to continue working effectively without being swayed by such misinformation.

When questioned about the origins of these reports, Rangsiman expressed disinterest in speculating, asserting that the news was clearly fabricated and designed to provoke division. He reiterated that the allegations were nothing more than fake news and should not be taken seriously.

On the issue of MPs’ commitment to the party, Rangsiman assured that there was no need for concern. He described the news as a fabrication and emphasized the party’s focus on creating a supportive environment for MPs to perform their duties efficiently. He highlighted the importance of experience and understanding in political roles, stating that MPs are valuable assets to the party.

Additionally, Rangsiman addressed whether the reports were intended to distract from political issues, acknowledging that there might be attempts to stir public interest in political conflicts. He noted that Thai citizens are familiar with political tensions, and while such claims might attract attention, the public is generally immune to fake news. Rangsiman expressed confidence that everyone within the party understood the reports were false and that no one had questioned the alleged list of departing MPs.
