RBC Meeting Remains Silent, No Sign of Cambodia Participating

Sa kaeo: The RBC meeting remained quiet, with no sign of Cambodian participation. The Commander of the 19th Military Circle said he would definitely attend, but he didn’t know at what time.

According to Thai News Agency, reporters reported at 9:30 p.m. the latest developments at the Officers’ Club, 19th Military Circle, Sa Kaeo Province, after the Army Spokesperson Team’s Facebook page revealed that, following an investigation by the First Army Area, the RBC secretary-level meeting, scheduled for today (August 21, 2015) at 7:00 p.m., was still being discussed via telephone and email, as coordinated by Cambodia. The statement confirmed that the meeting had not been canceled.

Reporters gradually left at 5:00 PM, having waited since 1:00 PM, and then returned to monitor the situation again. The conference room remained quiet, with no meetings taking place. Several media outlets also arrived to await the meeting.

Then at 8:50 p.m., Major General Thanat Poonnayom, Commander of the 19th Military Circle, arrived at the meeting and revealed that there would still be a meeting that night, but he didn’t know at what time.
