Bangkok: Reserve Senators present bouquets of flowers to encourage the DSI Director-General and the Special Case Investigation Team to reveal the truth about the collusion case. Senators are not afraid of interference and are ready to be a copper wall and an iron wall to work to the end.
According to Thai News Agency, at the Department of Special Investigation, Pol. Lt. Gen. Khamrob Panyakaew, representative of the reserve senators, along with fellow members, traveled to present a bouquet of flowers to encourage Pol. Lt. Col. Yuthana Phraedam, Director-General of the Department of Special Investigation, and the special case investigation team to perform their duties in investigating the senator collusion case fairly, to reveal the truth, to proceed to the end, and not be shaken even if anyone tries to impersonate or interfere in this matter. They asked that they fight to the end because it is a national issue. Pol. Lt. Col. Wisanu Chimtrakul, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Special Investigation, represented the Director-General to receive the bouquet and express his gratitude to the reserve senators.
Pol. Lt. Gen. Kamrob revealed that today, our group of reserve senators and those who had applied to be senators came to encourage the DSI officers who kindly took on the burden of prosecuting this case, both in the case of the secret society or in the part where they went to work with the investigation and inquiry subcommittee. In addition, recently, there have been some groups who may have objections and criticisms towards the DSI, such as filing a complaint to the NACC to the Director-General of the Department of Special Investigation, which is believed to be a strategy of the accused.
However, we still believe and are confident in the work of the DSI, and there has been progress to the point of being able to send letters to inform those involved to come and testify and defend themselves against the accusations, totaling 50-60 people. Therefore, we would like to give encouragement and will be a copper wall and iron wall in the work of the DSI to achieve its goals and benefit the country. As for those who have filed a complaint with the EC to cancel, revoke, or withdraw the 26th Investigation and Inquiry Subcommittee or asked for evidence to be disclosed, while some have filed a complaint with the NACC, which has 22 senators, to petition the DSI Director-General to stop performing his duties, we see that this is unreasonable and incorrect because the various agencies or organizations act in accordance with the authority, duties, and regulations of the government in every respect. Whoever files a complaint is partly a lack of ethics, and we have already filed a complaint to investigate the in
dividuals involved.
Pol. Lt. Col. Wisanu expressed his gratitude and pledged to uphold the correctness within the framework of the working authority and to uphold the correctness of the complaint within the framework of facts and evidence in the performance of the DSI’s duties.
