Royal Thai Army Opens Applications for Over 2,326 Cadet and Officer Positions.

Bangkok: The Royal Thai Army has announced the opening of applications for more than 2,326 positions for Army cadets and non-commissioned officers through the One Stop Service 2568 system. The application period is from today until January 4, 2025.

According to Thai News Agency, the Royal Thai Army is inviting individuals interested in pursuing a military career to apply for these positions. The available positions include 2,200 Army Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs) and 126 non-commissioned officers. Applications are open to a variety of candidates, including general civilians, those with military training, and current members of the armed forces or the Royal Thai Army. Eligible candidates can apply online through the ‘One Stop Service Recruitment and Selection for Personnel to Work in the Royal Thai Army in 2025’ project.

For the recruitment of the 2,200 Army NCOs, the Army is seeking Thai males who have completed Mathayom 6 or an equivalent level of education. Of these positions, 440 are open to civilians
aged 18 to 22, who are not scheduled for military drafting in 2025. The remaining 1,760 positions are reserved for conscripts, aged 18 to 24, from various branches of the military. This includes active-duty volunteer soldiers, male volunteer rangers, and reserve soldiers who have completed active duty.

In addition to Army NCOs, there are 126 positions for non-commissioned officers available to applicants aged 18 to 30. These positions are open to both males and females who have completed secondary education level 6 or equivalent. The recruitment process includes candidates from the Army’s personnel, such as conscripts with postponed discharge dates, civil servants, and volunteer rangers with at least one year of active service.

The recruitment initiative is part of the Royal Thai Army’s effort to utilize modern technology in creating a centralized recruitment and selection platform. This system allows interested applicants to check qualifications, submit applications, and stay updated on announcements throu
gh a single online portal. The Army also plans to recruit commissioned officers within the fiscal year 2025, with criteria and qualifications under consideration.
