According to Thai News Agency, the Royal Thai Army received a report on July 29, 2015, at 11:45 a.m., confirming the deaths of three soldiers in combat. The soldiers were identified as Sergeant Major Thirayut Sijuichai from the 3rd Infantry Battalion, 3rd Infantry Regiment; Sergeant Major Apirom Songput from the 3rd Infantry Battalion, 8th Infantry Regiment; and Private First Class Thirayut Krajangthong from the 2nd Anti-Aircraft Artillery Battalion, 2nd Anti-Aircraft Artillery Regiment.
The Royal Thai Army has expressed its deepest condolences to the families of the soldiers who lost their lives. The army has assured that it will provide comprehensive care and welfare support to the families and heirs of these brave soldiers as a mark of honor for their sacrifice.
