Trat: The Royal Thai Navy has initiated the “Trat Phikhat Pairi 1” operation to counter an attack by Cambodian soldiers in Ban Chamrak, Trat Province.

According to Thai News Agency, the operation was launched after the Cambodian military began an assault on the Thai border area at 05.10 a.m. The Chanthaburi-Trat Border Defense Force promptly responded, and the navy took control of the situation.

By 05.40 a.m., the Royal Thai Navy had successfully pushed the Cambodian troops out of Thai territory, safeguarding the integrity of the border area.
