Bangkok: The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) has registered DR ‘AIA19’ and will begin trading on September 5th. The SET has approved the registration of DR “AIA19,” which is issued by Yuanta Securities (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (Yuanta). This registration marks the introduction of new DRs referencing shares listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, allowing them to be traded on the Thai stock exchange starting September 5, 2025.

According to Thai News Agency, DR ‘AIA19’ represents AIA GROUP LTD (1299), a notable life and health insurance company in Asia. AIA Group covers major markets in Hong Kong, Thailand, China, and several other Asian countries. This development signifies an important step in expanding investment opportunities within the region, providing investors in Thailand access to a major player in the Asian insurance sector.
