Bangkok: Siam Piwat Group and its partners recently held a solemn ceremony to offer alms to 93 monks in dedication to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother, marking the seventh anniversary of her passing. The event was held at Parc Paragon on the M Floor of Siam Paragon, where attendees mourned in front of a portrait of the Queen Mother, expressing their gratitude for her contributions.
According to Thai News Agency, the Board of Directors, executives, and staff of Siam Piwat Group, along with Siam Paragon Development Co., Ltd., collaborated with public and private sector partners, vendors, and tenants to organize the event. The gathering was a tribute to Her Majesty’s efforts and dedication alongside His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great, whose reign united and inspired the Thai people. The ceremony highlighted the Queen Mother’s contribution to the nation’s prosperity and stability.
In addition to the alms-giving ceremony, Siam Piwat Group has established condolence signing stations across several locations, including the M floor of Siam Paragon, the G floor of Siam Piwat Tower, and River Park on the G floor of ICONSIAM. These stations offer Thai and international citizens the opportunity to express their condolences. The group has also committed to a 30-day mourning period, commencing October 25, 2025, during which executives and employees will wear formal attire in tribute.
Siam Piwat Group and Siam Paragon Development Co., Ltd. have expressed their intention to continue the Queen Mother’s legacy by incorporating her royal aspirations into their business operations. By doing so, they aim to preserve and expand on the values she championed, as a token of gratitude and respect for her lasting impact on Thailand.
