Bangkok: Sihasak Phuangketkaew, the prospective Minister of Foreign Affairs, has revealed that he has already engaged in discussions regarding foreign policy with Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul. Emphasizing a commitment to maintaining peace and sovereignty, Sihasak assured that these principles would be upheld to the utmost.
According to Thai News Agency, Sihasak recently visited the Bhumjaithai Party headquarters, where he met with the Prime Minister at the Jarista Coffee Shop on the first floor. When questioned by reporters about the party’s preparations for foreign policy, Sihasak confirmed that he had already communicated his stance to the Prime Minister. He noted, however, that a more detailed discussion would be necessary to facilitate an exchange of ideas.
In relation to the Thai-Cambodian General Border Committee (GBC) meeting scheduled for today, Sihasak mentioned that the Prime Minister had consulted with him on the matter. The approach would be to resolve issues peacefully while fully upholding sovereignty. Despite the significance of the discussion, Sihasak declined to provide further details.
