Sister of Migrant Worker Killed in Israel Reveals Sister Took Risks for Family.


Buriram: The sister of a 42-year-old Thai worker who died in a fighting incident in Israel tearfully revealed that her brother took the risk because he wanted to earn money to take care of his family. She is pleading with the authorities to help bring his brother’s body back to his hometown for religious ceremonies and help the family.

According to Thai News Agency, the atmosphere at the house in Krasang District, Buriram Province, the hometown of Mr. Prahyat, one of the four Thai workers who died in the fighting in Israel, was somber. Relatives and villagers gathered to express their condolences and offer support to the grieving family, who are still struggling to come to terms with the abrupt and tragic loss.

Mrs. Sulaporn, the sister of Mr. Prahyat, tearfully recounted that after the fighting in Israel, her brother had already returned home once, but his employment contract had not yet expired. His employer contacted him to return to work again. Despite the family’s concerns and reluctance, Mr. Prahy
at insisted on returning, aware of the dangers, because he wanted to provide for his family. Mrs. Sulaporn has appealed to the authorities to assist in repatriating her brother’s body for religious rites and to support the family during this difficult time.

Ms. Prapai, Mr. Prahyat’s wife, shared that they had been in contact frequently. Her husband had informed her about the ongoing fighting, with missiles sometimes being fired over his workplace. She had urged him to be cautious, never anticipating that such a tragic event would occur.
