Bangkok: SME D Bank is advancing its development mission by launching the “D CEO Network” project, its third edition for 2025. This program empowers over 100 SMEs, including business owners, executives, and heirs, through the intensive “Go Green, Go Digital and AI, Go Finance” course. This program aims to elevate business networks and access special interest capital, ultimately propelling them towards becoming high-potential spearheads and key drivers of the Thai economy into the modern world of trade.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Pichit Mitrawong, Managing Director of the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Bank of Thailand (SME D Bank), revealed that SME D Bank, as a state-owned financial institution dedicated to the development of Thai SMEs, is organizing a business potential development project for Thai SME entrepreneurs under the “D CEO Network” Batch 3: Lead the Future. This project aims to advance Thai SMEs and propel the country into the new world. The project, which collaborates with partner agencies in the public and private sectors, selected over 100 potential bank customers, including business owners, executives, and business heirs, to undergo in-depth training with an intensive curriculum from August to September 2025. The program will provide essential knowledge for current and future business operations, fostering knowledge exchange and upskilling and reskilling for further business development and access to funding at special interest rates. Importantly, the program aims to foster
business networking among SME entrepreneurs, elevating the potential of these entrepreneurs from their previous projects to new heights, enabling them to become a key force in driving the Thai economy forward into a sustainable global trade world.
The curriculum in this program focuses on preparing SME entrepreneurs to effectively embrace technological changes and global trends, including “Go Green, Go Digital and AI, and Go Finance.” Each program, in addition to theoretical learning, also provides hands-on workshops led by leading national experts. These workshops address business needs, including preparation for MAI, challenges in keeping up with AI technology and leading businesses to success in the digital age, AI application in business, and innovation: strengthening businesses with technology.
The D CEO Network Project for 2025 marks the third consecutive year. The past two rounds of the project have been a resounding success, with over 133 participants successfully connecting to funding opportunities and boosting their businesses, totaling over 186 million baht. The opening ceremony was presided over by Mr. Decha Chatuthananan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank, who delivered a welcome address to the participants.
In addition to this project, SME entrepreneurs interested in using SME D Bank’s “Pattana Khu Tem Thun” loan service, with loans covering all business sectors, highlighted by a special interest rate of just 3% per year, fixed for the first three years, repayment periods of up to 10 years, a maximum principal repayment grace period of 12 months, and a maximum loan amount of 15 million baht, are eligible for the “SME Green Productivity,” “SME Empowerment,” and “Beyond SME Wings” loans.
