New york: Social media users are praising Sihasak’s bold speech at the UNGA, after Anutin presented his diplomatic sword to Cambodia. Meanwhile, the Prime Minister reiterated his commitment to peaceful resolutions for the benefit of the country.
According to Thai News Agency, following Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkaew, Minister of Foreign Affairs,’s speech at the 80th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, social media in Thailand highlighted his satisfaction with the performance of his duties as Minister of Foreign Affairs in the government of Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul.
Mr. Sihasak’s trip to the UNGA this time adheres to the security and foreign affairs resolution approach assigned by Mr. Anutin, using military measures in conjunction with diplomacy to peacefully preserve sovereignty for the benefit of the people, particularly in the case of the Thai-Cambodian dispute.
Meanwhile, Mr. Anutin believes that Mr. Sihasak’s statement at the UNGA has clearly given Thai people confidence in the government’s position.
Regarding the “4 Months, 4 Main Missions” policy to restore confidence in Thailand, in line with the government’s policy statement to Parliament by Mr. Anutin, which will be announced on September 29-30, one of the four policies prioritizes security and foreign policy, stating that the government will use military measures in conjunction with diplomacy to preserve sovereignty for the benefit of the people, such as in the Thai-Cambodian dispute.
