Lima: State President Luong Cuong had a meeting with Prime Minister of New Zealand Christopher Luxon in Lima on November 15 (local time), while there to participate in the APEC 2024 Leaders’ Week in Peru.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting between the leaders focused on strengthening bilateral relations and exploring new areas of cooperation. Both leaders expressed a mutual interest in enhancing economic ties and discussed potential partnerships in fields such as trade, education, and sustainable development.

The discussion also touched upon global issues, with both leaders emphasizing the importance of collaboration in addressing challenges such as climate change and ensuring regional stability.
